Construction 3D PDF

As construction projects become more sophisticated, it is required to work with increasingly complex information from multiple cross-functional teams. Virtual design and construction (VDC) makes efficient communication between disciplines essential. 3D PDF BIM business solutions can help by sharing information and plans quickly and effectively.

3D PDF BIM Benefits

3D PDF BIM business solutions support Virtual design and construction VDC. The user is able to work with AutoCAD and Revit; building information modeling (BIM) and clash detection software on an interactive surface. It is also possible to review and mark up any files, from simple diagrams to more complex digital building models, making it easy to spot potential design conflicts and help clients visualize the finished project.

Another key benefit encompasses sharing data instantly with remote participants, so everyone can see what’s happening in real time. 3D PDF BIM solutions enable efficient exchange of information and ideas – everyone can quickly see the impact of design decisions. 3D BIM Technology

3D PDF Converter for Revit® is an integrated software working within the Revit® environment that enables users to publish rich, interactive, 3D PDF files that are significantly smaller than the original Revit® 3D models. The software uses the Adobe® 3D Technology as a one button file conversion that is easily exchangeable and viewed with the free Adobe® Reader. The converter is available individually or bundled with Adobe® Acrobat® XI Pro full version or upgrade.

The 3D PDF Converter for Revit® connects the extensive Building Information Modeling (BIM) community for the first time with a Revit® plug-in that supports data sharing using 3D PDF based on the PRC file format. The software uses the same native technology used by Adobe® to create and consume 3D PDF files, ensuring that data generated from Revit® design has guaranteed compatibility to Adobe® Acrobat® and Adobe® Reader. The result is accurate, data-rich 3D models that are up to 97% smaller than the original Revit® file.

This trialware version will expire in 30 day(s), we hope that this trial allows you to get familiar with 3DA’s 3D PDF Converter for Revit® and encourages you to use it on a daily basis. For helpful hints please refer to our 3DA Systems YouTube channel for tutorial tips and tricks.
